Somatic Womb Work is a radical transdisciplinary modality that weaves together somatics, mindfulness, traditional earth-based wisdom and womb-pelvic bowl healing for whole being transformation. 

Somatic Womb Work supports clients in cultivating greater womb and pelvic bowl embodiment. It guides us to the womb space as a place of reclaimed safety, as the seat of our creativity and vitality, where healing is possible multi-directionally. 

We might explore:

• Your current or desired relationship to your womb or pelvic organs

• Womb stories- including your lineage stories

• Somatic practices for developing a felt sense of safety, grounding, agency and connection

• Embodiment exercises to bridge a connection to the womb, root and pelvic bowl

• 🌒 Abdominal Massage- Advanced techniques to tonify the uterus, improve digestion and motility, reduce surgical scars and ease the nervous system (see below for more info).

• 🌒 Craniosacral Therapy

  Cranial sacral therapy is originally an Osteopathic technique which encourages the cerebrospinal fluid to move more freely. This is a very slow session that include light touch and gentle holding of the head, spine, belly and pelvis.

  Many folks find it to be deeply relaxing, and supportive for trauma and tension held in the body due to the slowness and its effect on the Vagus nerve. Others find it to help with structural realignment after things like brain injury, whiplash and even allergies due to the gentle release of the face, skull, jaw, spine and pelvis.

• 🌒 Lymphatic Drainage A gentle, rhythmic technique that supports the natural movement of lymph fluid through the body. Some find that it helps to reduce swelling, improve immune function, and clear stagnation, leaving them feeling lighter, more balanced, and deeply relaxed. This therapy can be beneficial for detoxification, post-surgical recovery, hormonal balance, and overall health.

• 🌒 Gua Sha + Cupping –Targeted release and increased collagen production and circulation for sore muscles and scar tissues. Great for post-workout recovery and chronic tension from office work.

This age-old practice is found in many traditional forms of medicine. It is considered essential, particularly after a fall on the tail bone.

Abdominal massage focuses on the digestive organs, womb, lower back, core muscles and pelvis, and addresses issues like proper organ positioning, as well as gut and reproductive health.

The belly (aka enteric nervous system) is considered our ‘second brain,’ and it has a significant influence on our mental wellbeing. Many people are surprised to discover how their digestion, posture and breathing patterns are reflections of their mental health.
